On the 12th of January 2019 at the Centro Cultural de Belem (CCB) there will be two performances – at 4.00 pm and at 9.00 pm of the premier of the Cavaleiro da Dinamarca, a ballet in three acts, produced by the Escola Artistica de Dança do Conservatorio Nacional and in collaboration with the Escola de Musica do Conservatorio Nacional.

The Cavaleiro da Dinamarca features original choreography, costumes, and scenery which have been especially created for the piece. Inspired by the writings of Sophia De Mello Breyner Andresen the performance pays homage to her on the centenary of her birthday, in the presence of the Chancellor of the Commission of the Centenary Celebrations and the Nacional Centre of Culture.
